The first time home buyer tax credit helped encourage many home buyers to jump into the market who some say may not have without it, boosting the national realty market.

There are differing perspectives on this topic as with most things, that contravene and even counterbalance one another. The idea of the use of tax payer money going toward helping people pay for their homes has most people up in arms.
