Who We Are

Business Card Who We AreGavin King is an Associate Broker Le Bois Realty and has been a real estate investor, Realtor, broker, developer and builder for over 15 years. One of the top Boise real estate agents, Gavin knows how to get the best value for his clients, and take care of them.

Here is a series of questions designed to explain how Gavin became one of the top Boise real estate agents:

1. What do you offer your clients that other agents in Boise Idaho don't?

Gavin King: "I would have to say that the breadth of my experience is what makes me most able to help buyers in the area real estate market. Being that I have worked as a developer, builder, broker and marketer I understand every facet of real estate in the area and enjoy seeing new members of my community get settled in and integrated. Once homeowners get rooted and learn what all the Boise area has to offer, they love it!"

2. Do real estate agents in Boise Idaho from larger brokerages have an advantage over working with a local broker?

Gavin King: "I would say that they do not. Working with a local real estate brokerage means that you are dealing with an area professional who is aware of every facet of the local market, as opposed to working with a real estate agent in Boise Idaho who is serving a national corporation who has no idea what the local market is like. The larger corporations do not have the agility to address the concerns of the local real estate market."

3. Do you think the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit will be renewed for 2010?

Gavin King: "I don't think it will. I think if you do not have your Boise real estate agents working for you before the April 30th contract deadline, you will probably miss out on it. With such a large amount offered on the tax credit, the federal government has done just about all it can do to stimulate the housing market, and with the low interest rates many buyers have purchased already. Waiting for the next wave of buyers on the area real estate market will be the best thing for the market as a whole."

4. Are you still negotiating short sales and do you think you will have any difficulty in the future in getting them accepted?

Gavin King: "With so many homes across the valley slipping into default over the last year alone, Boise real estate agents will have their hands full for years to come. The short sales in Boise are a result of many different factors, so thinking that they will slow down in the near future seems short sighted to me. Until the job market begins to recover, we will probably be seeing a lot of short sales and REO's on the market."
